DVD + Pizza night!

This Wednesday we are mixing it up a little and are having a pizza and DVD night!

Where: Sal & Aaron's place.
When: Wednesday 30th November, 7pm (Please note this is earlier than the usual 7.30pm start time as we have to fit a lot in!!)
What to bring: Money for pizza, and a DVD that you would like to watch. We'll have a vote on what movie we'll watch (comedies are my fav!! ;) )

Indoor Rock Climbing

Hi Guys!

I have just booked our rock climbing night! woo hoo!

Where: Climb Fit. 4/12 Frederick Street, St Leonards.
Ph: 9436 4600 if you want to contact them.

When: Wednesday 2nd November, 7-9pm.

Cost: $22 (including entry and harness hire)

What to wear: You can hire rock climbing shoes if you want, but otherwise any runners/joggers are fine to wear. The man said the smaller, the better.

If you need a lift there, please let me know!

End of Term Dinner

To celebrate, we are having a change from our usual life group next week, and we're going out to dinner!

Rock Climbing + End of Year Dinner

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to our rock climbing night!
It was awesome, and I think it's safe to say that everyone had a fun night.
What a shame I forgot my camera - the boys climbing across the ceiling would have been great subjects!
See you all on Sunday - we can discuss Tuesday's dinner then.
I think the consensus is that we're going to go out to dinner, so have a think about where you'd like to go, and let me know ASAP!

School Holidays/ Christmas in July

Hello YA's!

I hope you've all had a fantastic Saturday!

Last Tuesday was our last life group for term 2, can anyone believe how fast the year is flying by? We now have a 2 week break from LG due to the school holidays.

Life Group will resume in the first week of term 3 on Tuesday 20th July.

"Why the Christmas tree?" I hear you ask...

In order to celebrate the beginning of term 3, we will be having a Christmas in July potluck dinner!!

Woo hoo!! I'm excited! :)

Where: Sally and Aaron's place.

When: Tuesday 20th July, 7pm.

What to bring: A plate of food to share with everyone, preferably something Christmassy.

What to wear: Something Christmassy!

Tenpin Bowling

Hello YA's!

This week, seeing as there are no life group notes, we are going Tenpin Bowling! Woo hoo!

Where: AMF Bowling. Cnr Linda St and George St, Hornsby

When: Tuesday 22nd June, 7pm.

]You can buy dinner there if you like (I am!).

How much: Not sure...Probably around $10. But there are always coupons on the back of supermarket dockets if you want to check any you have at home. And there are vouchers in the Entertainment Book if you have one.

Lawn Bowls

Hi Guys,

This Tuesday night, get ready to go lawn bowling!!

When: Tuesday 17th March, 7pm (the club isn't open on Wednesdays)

Where: Hornsby Bowling Club, Waitara Avenue, Waitara.

Cost: Approx $10 (the man on the phone wasn't quite sure).

What to bring: There is no bar, so if you would like refreshments, you'll need to BYO.

Fish n Chips

Hi guys,

This Wednesday 25th Feb, the YAs are going to Dee Why for a fish and chip dinner.
Be at Lucy and Bren's by 7pm, and we can sort out carpooling there (if you would like to make your own way to Dee Why and meet us there, then that's fine. The address is 'Seafood at the Beach', 12A The Strand, Dee Why)
Cost: Should be less than $20
What to bring: A frisbee/vortex/ball etc, a picnic blanket or chair if you like.

End of year barbeque!

I was under the impression that this week was the last week of life group, and since we've already discussed the bbq, we're going ahead with it this Wednesday, so....
